Every surface bore the marks of previous repairs, resulting in weakened, bent, and pitted components. Compounding the issue were thick layers of powdered repairs, up to 0.25 inches thick, that needed removal before further work could begin.

SOLUTION

CMMC conducted comprehensive quality control (QC) assessments of all wicket gate features to ensure optimal results, pinpointing areas requiring repairs. Extensive work followed, including the removal of previous powdered repairs. To restore the surfaces, CMMC applied a complete overlay of 304 Stainless Steel, followed by precision machining to match the original blueprint specifications.
